Buongiorno! Con il post di oggi inizieremo a raccontarvi un po' di noi. In molti ci chiedono chi siamo, quali sono state le nostre formazioni scolastiche e come siamo arrivati a fare questo particolare lavoro. Eccovi accontentati!

Iniziamo dal titolare Carlo Marega
Carlo è nato a Murano, l'isola del vetro, e già a 11 anni ha iniziato a lavorare in una fornace diventando presto maestro vetraio. Giovanissimo, si mette in proprio e apre un piccolo negozio a Venezia, dove realizza sotto gli occhi dei propri clienti le sue sculture.
Dopo qualche anno decide di iniziare a sperimentare la cartapesta. E' il 1982. Poco per volta lascia il lavoro di vetraio e decide di dedicarsi esclusivamente all'arte della maschera veneziana. Apre un altro punto vendita, e poi un secondo, con l'aiuto del fratello Renzo. Nel 2004 i negozi sono 4, famosi in tutta la città per lo stile e l'eleganza che li distingue dalla massa. Nel 2005 apre la sartoria e da il via alla produzione di abiti d'epoca e accessori. Nel 2006 fonda la società Atelier Marega, rinnova il sito web, dotandolo di una piattaforma e-commerce e di un efficientissimo servizio clienti.
Oggi Carlo si occupa in prima persona della fase ideativa di tutti i prodotti, dell'allestimento dei negozi ed è il motore creativo dell'Atelier Marega!

Let's start with the "boss" Carlo Marega
Carlo was born in Murano, the island of the glass, and when he was 11 he started to work into a furnace, becoming a magister very young. He decided to go to Venice ("the town") to open his first little shop, where he made glass scultpures in front of the eyes of his customers.
In 1982 started to work with paper-machè and decided to dedicate his time to learn the antique techique to make-paper machè Venetian masks. In a little time he open two shops with the help of his brother Renzo.
In 2004 they have 4 shops very famous in Venice, their shops were so elegant that were really different from other shops of the town.
In 2005 open a tailor's workroom starting to produce hand made historical costumes.
In 2006 Atelier Marega society starts his life, renewing the web site with an e-commerce platform and a very  efficient customer care service.
Now Carlo is the "creative mind" of all new items and shop's fitting, it's the creative driving force behind of Atelier Marega!
